Voluntary rights of way workers in Sussex

Fundraising

Caver Jason Street from the Wealden Cave and Mine Society descended the wishing well at the Needlemakers in Lewes on Sunday 20th January to recover funding for the Monday Group, a group of local Rights of Way volunteers. Visitors to the Needlemakers often throw money into the well for a wish, and every year or so the well is opened up and the contents are given to a local group. This year just under £600 was recovered for the Monday Group.
